The Lamb Family | Extended Family Portrait Session | 2026

This one really didn’t feel like work to me at all. I mean, let’s be honest, if you love what you do, it can often just be fun and not work. But the Lamb family is a group of people I have known as long as I can remember. Like really, I’ve known them my entire life. I’ve also gotten the privilege of photographing the weddings of all the “kids”.

So when they needed an updated family portrait, I was so happy to be chosen to photograph it and spend a little time with this group. They also got incredibly lucky with the weather. We ended up having to reschedule once due to a small health issue. But the date we were originally scheduled was a super hot southern day. So sticky, sweaty, and extremely hot.

But the day we finally were able to make it work was wonderful. It was not hot at all, so everyone was comfortable and happy. We did have to keep things moving pretty fast for the youngest member of the family because it was pretty late in the day. And you never know how many smiles you have left that late in the day. I’m so grateful for this sweet family and glad we were able to capture some more current memories for them to hold on to.
