Ruby | Senior Session | South Side High School

It’s so meaningful when we can reflect parts of a seniors personality in their photos. Whether it be things that they love or hobbies they’ve had during school. Ruby spent a lot of her high school years on the football field with her school band or on the stage singing in musicals. I was super excited that we were going to get to do a few photos to incorporate those things.

I was so glad Ruby wanted me to do her photos. Ruby is my cousin’s daughter so I’ve known her for her whole life. She’s always been a very sweet spirit with just the right amount of spunk and character. I haven’t had the chance to see her on the field but have been lucky enough to be a part of the crowds that enjoyed her musical theater. She’s always fun to watch and has added so much to any show she’s been in.

I feel like senior year is so full of excitement, anticipation and joy. There’s a little sadness to leave what you know and love and move on to a different stage of life. I hope that in a senior session we can wrap up what’s special about the place you’ve been. I sure do love this girl and am so proud of the woman she’s become!
