Fall
It’s my favorite time of year again! I have always loved fall so much. Yes, there are things I really look forward to in every season but there’s just something about the air, the look and the feel of fall that makes me so happy. And fall minis are always so fun. I always book up and get to spend the day catching up with families I don’t get to see much and meet new families that hopefully will be coming to me for years to come so I can watch their families grow.
Sunny Day
This year the weather tried to trick us a bit. This has seriously been a common theme for the last few years. I know people have always chit-chatted about how the forecast is never right and “the weather changes so often here that….”. But I’m telling you as someone who, for the last 25 years, has had my schedule revolve around the forecast and rain, that it has been way more inconsistent the last few years than ever before. I honestly do not even let myself look at the forecast. I wait to call it til the night before because it is pretty much never correct. The whole week of sessions the forecast was calling for a storm that day. But when Saturday came around, it was gorgeous. I will say the humidity snuck back in which I wasn’t a fan of, but the day was beautiful.
So once again I had a fantastic day running around this stunning property with great people. We captured lots of smiles and love. I’m so happy to get to do what I do. And I”m so lucky to have so many people come back each fall to let me photograph them. Thanks for another great fall mini session!!
